In last week's edition of "Take Advantage" We touched on the savings on used cars coming from the USA.  I explained the benefits and great buys for our big three manufacturers GM, FORD, and Dodge, and the enormous savings to be had when comparing U.S. to Canadian vehicles. There are many more great deals available right now in the U.S., when considering the purchase of a used domestic vehicle. However, this week's blog is not about that. It's about the monsters of the road, accompanied by roaring sound waves often mistaken for Bowing 747 Jet engines. It is about one thing and one thing only…..heavy metal.

The best part of it all is that there is no duty on this bad boy, as it is built in North America, and conversion fees are minimal.Dealers in Canada are selling slightly used 2009 X5M's for $90 000 plus, so you will save $10-$20 000! 

I've listed two ferocious beasts that can be had while saving tens of thousands of dollars, if purchased slightly used from the U.S.. If you are in the market for a supercar or truck, find a website that lists U.S. used cars and trucks for Canadian customers.
