Why Laser Printers Outshine Your Inkjet Printer

When it comes to speed and clarity, laser printers outshine your inkjet printer every single time. Another way that laser printers outperform an inkjet printer is in the quality of the print on the page, Because laser printers use ink toner, which is a powdered substance made of polymers and carbons, and heat, the ink is actually fused directly with the fibers of the paper used. Because the text is fused into the paper, the durability of the product is unmatched. Even the highest quality inks will rub off, micro-dot by micro-dot at a time. Eventually, the document just doesn't have the same clarity and sharpness of text that it did originally. Laser printing doesn't produce that problem, because no actual ink is used. The laser printer document is cleaner as well, for the same reason. Because the ink doesn't rub off, there is no mess associated with ink on your fingers. Even though the transfer is so minute you may not actually notice it, if you are working with a lot of pages for a long time, you will notice that pages from a laser printer keep your fingers cleaner.
