HP Photosmart 2575 is a versatile system to print copy and scan. Its dimension is 6.7 inches by 17.2 inches by 28.4 inches and weighs 12.2 pounds. With its size it can be conveniently placed on small space.

It is equipped with comfortable control panel with buttons and separate menus for photos, video and preview. It has a 2.5 inches color display screen close to control panel for preview of photographs. The preview helps to do corrections on photographs if necessary before printing.

Paper feeding tray can hold a maximum of 100 papers and out tray can hold a maximum of 50 papers. The feeding tray has convenient width guide for different sizes of stock.

The printer uses one HP 339 ink cartridge black cartridge and one regular three color cartridge. Dark crisp text prints and true color photos are obtained with ink technology used in manufacturing. Users can optionally use six inks printing. Regular tri color cartridge along with photo cartridge can be used to get good quality photo prints with lesser grains. If needed users have the option to use photo gray cartridge for black and white photo prints.

Scanner is useful for scanning images to the maximum of 8.5 inches by 11.7 inches size. Colors of the scanned images are as equivalent to original but images are not as sharp as one would like.

For connectivity it has USB 2.0 Hi-speed port and a PictBridge port. It supports operating systems Windows 98 , SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000 Professional, XP and Mac OS v9.1 and higher, Mac OS X v10.1.5, v10.2 and v10.3.
