Background
- Jodie proudly served his country in Vietnam. He and his neighbors' heroic efforts are
chronicled in the book, “The Sons of Bardstown.”
- Jodie is vice-president of Nally and Haydon, Inc., a construction company. He has 45 years experience as a businessman and employer.
- He is a graduate of St. Joseph Prep and Bellarmine College.
- He is an active member of St. Joseph Parish and serves on many committees.
Family
- Jodie has deep roots in the community and is the 2nd of 11 children, all of whom were born and raised in the district.
- His parents worked together to build up a family business that has employed three generations of residents in the region.
- Jodie and his wife Carolyn, have been married for 39 years and have two children, Allison and Amy, and six grandchildren.
Experience
- Jodie served four years on the Bardstown City Council and four years as a State Representative.
